Anna Zehr

Birthdate: August 30, 1978
Favorite verses: Ephesians 5:1-2 – Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
Anna Zehr was born in Waterloo, Ontario, and grew up on a dairy farm near Millbank. She attended Cedar Grove Christian, Morningstar Christian, and Fairhaven Christian, obtaining her GED diploma in 2002. Following four summer terms at Faith Builders, she earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Grace College and Theological Seminary in 2006. Besides her varied vocational background (including work as a waitress and receptionist), she has seven years’ teaching experience in elementary education. She has also participated in children’s ministries in Indiana, Camp Andrews, Belize and El Salvador, at one point becoming fluent in Spanish at a four-year-old level.
Anna enjoys roller-blading, ice skating, reading, learning, and stimulating conversations. She desires to pursue a relationship with a loving God and to grow in knowledge and understanding of His work on earth, while living a life of love that blesses children and others around her.
