Ryan & Shari Zook

Ryan Zook was born in McMinnville, Oregon. His family spent several years in mission work in Ontario, Canada, where his father taught at schools in Ear Falls and Red Lake. He graduated from Mill Creek Christian in 1998. He graduated from Maranatha Bible School in 1999 and from Faith Builders’ TAP in 2000. Ryan taught two years at Northwoods Mennonite School in Hayward, Wisconsin, and served a year in voluntary service at Faith Builders in renovation.
Leaving her birthplace of International Falls, Minnesota, at age 11, Shari (Coblentz) Zook moved with her family to Plain City, Ohio, where her father, John, served in Deeper Life Ministries. She attended Northwood Christian School until sixth grade and then homeschooled through grade 12, graduating in 1999. She graduated from Maranatha Bible School in 2003.
Ryan and Shari married in 2003. They have two sons, Aarick and Regan. Ryan and Shari were called to church leadership in 2006, serving as assistant pastor at Meadville Mennonite Chapel. Their family enjoys reading good books, working on computers, building with Legos, and visiting with friends. They desire to serve the local church and broader Christian community through writing, relationships, pastoring, effective technology solutions, and outreach ministry as a family.
